I can think of 3 addresses on different rurals I know which are absolute nightmares to deliver to - right out in the back of beyond, loony dogs, miles of pot-holey dirt track, no names on the houses, etc.
I'm seriously tempted to send each of them a Special Delivery for Nov 4th. I don't really care about my dom struggling to find it but it'd be great to send one of my strike-breaking colleagues down to each of them that day!

i doubt if there is a special delivery service on friday 1st november / saturday 2nd november,royal mail will put a block on any special delivery service due to the idiots left in the delivery offices on the monday most wont have been trained on the p.d.a,s.

If you send them on Friday 1st Nov some of them may be put out for delivery the next day Sat 2nd,even if you don't pay for Saturday guaranteed!

There is a flaw to your plan, as I have found out on a couple of occasions when my day off has been a Monday. When I order certain things off the internet, I can time it so I get them delivered on my day off. However, when things are sent Special Delivery on a Friday, they are delivered the next day, Saturday. It's infuriating to get home on a Saturday after a day out to find a P739. It means I have a 20-odd mile round trip to pick up my packet on my day off. I have asked various people how I can have a special delivered on a Monday and just get fobbed off.

In my opinion, only SG's should be delivered on a Saturday.

Really? I'm just gonna make them do some actual work for their 30 pieces of silver that day. I'd use the words "childish and pathetic " to describe the actions of someone who will take the benefits of a deal which others have made sacrifices to gain.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion but I'd just like the strike-breakers to have a little challenge that day while we're out standing in the cold, trying to put up a fight on their behalf!
