manager sacked for facebook comment

Got told thismorning he'd slagged off another manager,so we should be wary of what we write on Facebook.Anyone know what office?

No idea, but groups, including a CWU group have popped up,
i heard of one guy getting sacked through that,
it's heated times, but you still have to be very VERY careful what you put out there for the world to see,
a manager could make a false facebook account, join that group, record comments from people who have given their true names and pass them on.
i've had my moments where i've lost my temper and let rip at someone face to face or via the internet, i've been lucky, i still have my job.
It doesn't take a lot for someone to get the sack, be careful guys and girls !

Facebook is an accident waiting to happen for members,It's a serious liability.
I wouldn't use it for anything work or union related,I wouldn't comment on work colleagues at all and I wouldn't even fill in my employer details.

Facebook ! might as well let all the criminals know all about you and everyone else that may know your name. Wouldn't even make up a false account on that what with all the spybots watching you and matching your ip address to your ebay account to your amazon , nectar card, bank, mortgage etc. Stay clear of it!

ESPECIALLY THE USA......


it comes across as being a social network,,, but really it's there to tag and collect info on as many people in the world as possible... my advice... don't put anything on about yourself on social networks,,, including twitter....

and yes identity theft as well..............

Wow! I wonder what made you say that?

Anyway you can say the same thing about any internet site... including this one. Doesn't take much for "Government" to hack any site they want to or to get your IP address and any personal details [including any fake ID you may/or may not use] from any online source you use.
