I hour difference....Big Deal. I'm sure all my O.A.Ps will be insisting on using TNT so they can get their Damart catalogues an hour earlier. Don't know why people bang on about how late the mail is....If it's not there before you leave for work then it doesn't matter what time it arrives up to 1 minute before you arrive home.

People always give me the Bullshit about working from home and waiting for "Important" mail. I always tell then to rent a business premises (Pay business rents & rates) and then they'll probably get an earlier delivery by the Firms Duties. If you want to work from the studio of your lovely little thatched cottage, in the arse end of nowhere, then don't be surprised if you don't get an early delivery! Many's the time I've rearranged a Duty because I've got a 9 a.m Special, got there and asked the customer if he'd specifically requested it....Guess what? "No I didn't, it's nothing really important"! Half these idiots moaning about late deliveries are only waiting for a giro (Yes they do still post some) or the latest X-Box game or DVD to occupy their otherwise work free day.

I liked this one from "The Moth" Irrespective of the later start times, the reason that delivery is later is because the union fought RM's proposal to significantly increase the number of part time workers. Putting it simply, you can have 10 part timers doing 2 hours delivery or 5 full timers doing 4 hours delivery.
Great idea ... and you could keep them in kennels 'cos they couldn't afford anywhere to live !!!
