Are delivery out the 4th or the 5th of November??

i have heard it starts the 4th at midday meaning delivery will be out the Tuesday?

The official announcement said from 4th November.
Yet a lot of people have said they have heard on the grapevine that it will be like the last strike and from 2pm on Monday 4th November so that the busy late and night shifts are affected and then early shift and deliveries will actually be off November 5th and then the late shifts return at 2pm.

What happens if you're an 11am - 7pm shift. Do you walk out at 2pm then return 2pm the next day ?

just been told in a different post that they have not released the time of strike yet, only that it will start on the 4th and be for 24 hours. Hope its not a Tuesday out for deliveries, that will not go down well with deliveries already not happy with what has been going on regarding revisions

the following evening, my usual start time would be 23:30, i go in at midnight ?

There should be a mass strike in the uk in protest at the millionaire Tories destroying Britain and lining there own pockets . Dunno we seem to be a very weak country ,moan about things and that's as far as it goes

Perhaps the delay for the strike date is less to do with RM making a new offer but the CWU actually to decide what time of day we are striking.

not necessarily, thats not what happened last time, we need to wait for the strike plan to be released by CWU

Personally strike should really start at Monday 6am, Deliveries out, backshift out and Nightshift out.

Surely the strike is everyone's 1st shift back after the weekend. All back in work on your 2nd day after the weekend. Why complicate things.
