How do you have time for team talks, wtl or huddles? Our managers gave up on them ages ago as they don't even believe any of it and that is straight from the lino's own mouths,. We generally have them inflicted on us if any VIP's visit.

Think he was pointing out that the management just wouldn't bother giving the talk (which I assume has been issued from the top), as the staff would just laugh, and point out the holes in all the ridiculous claims being made.
It won't happen in my unit either, for the same reason.
The manager won't want the grief that will result from it.

Pete the sad fact in our office is we have a lot of boys who spout of on shop floor ,but when they are in team talks etc don't murmur a word in front of managers .As you well know I will speak out im not afraid to speak my mind but a lot of boys just wont put there head above parapet But I also let them know of there silence in teamtalks after .

Is nice that RM has asked the public on their view on us going on strike.
If RM is so concerned about the public and how they feel, why didn't they ask them about their views on privatising in the first place. Instead of letting the government rushing it through in a month.
