I, m leaving Royal Mail on ihr on Monday after 23 years. I, ll miss the banter and the friends l, ve made over the years.Salt of the earth are Postmen and Postwomen. But l shan,t miss the business whatsoever. I shall be down on the picket line as Joe Public supporting you all in this, and any other dispute. I wish you all well. :wave

I took ihr back in May after 13 years. ..at first it was quite scary but looking back it's the best thing I've done...enjoy :thumbup

God Luck with your new life. :Very Happy Don't forget to stop all the Postmen you see and tell them you used to be a Postie and what a wonderful job it was! :dance Oh...and aren't they running late because you always used to be finished by now..... but that was because in those days you only had half a bag of mail etc etc. :left:

Good luck dean07, hope you recover from whatever led to your retirement and enjoy life to the full - I am in the middle of a leisurely weeks leave and feel so much better - so retirement from this job must be the Holy Grail for all of us :)

Best Wishes for the future Dean! I left RM in July. I was a bit worried about making that leap, but it's been great. You don't realise how rushed and stressed you are working, until you stop. I've had a great summer - the weather helped too, I'm going to do a xmas temp job for a few weeks, then go somewhere warm for a couple of months. :Very Happy
