Can you apply for more than one job at once?

Hi all

I know its not the most stable time to be applying for jobs at the Royal Mail but however, there are a few jobs around my local area being advertised on the site at the moment. Does anyone know if it possible to apply for more than one? Or is it preferable with Royal Mail recruitment if you only apply for one of them?

I think only one at a time.
And if there's a choice go for the nearest one to your home as, with the manager just going through a routine set of questions and having little or any idea as to which of you might be the best workers, other things being equal those nearest to the Delivery Office might have the most reliable attendance.

I bet you really live up to your name....ever thought of a career change?

OP - I applied for 4 jobs in the space of a month and it's ok to do that.....but the further you live from the DO, the less chance you have of getting an interview if there are others who've passed the online tests in that area.

Is the Pope Catholic? Just like you said, some FT staff do not give some PT or new starter the time of the day. With all those talk of rolling part-time contracts (some just 20 hours over 5 days: wicked!) - someone still asking the most obvious.

Whizz, Can I just ask whether the Online test you took was more of a Aptitude test (including reading and comprehension) or was it mainly about sorting?

Not quite sure why I've received the response I have, perhaps you could both explain, as I was merely asking a civil question to Grey87?

2 of the jobs are permanent, which from what i understand is pretty rare in the royal mail! Another one is temporary. I'm guessing if/when jobs do go at the Royal Mail it would be the temporary contracts that go first, so hopefully one of the full time ones will come up.

I've applied to all 3 and it's allowed me to do it! I'm hopeful i will get an interview for one of them. Desperate to get some outdoor work again, sitting behind a desk 5 days a week on minimum wage is killin me!
