Does it matter if you do your d2d's everyday or just put the whole lot in on one day? I don't see the problem as long as there all done right, but is this how managers see it, are there any consequences?

Only if you claim OT or get back early other days because you have less to do.

Officially they're meant to be done each day, something like 20%, but if your office is like mine, as long as they're done by the end of the week then it's ok, I tend to throw the lot off on a Monday then deliver anything with live mail each and every day, by the end of he week they're basically done.

Anyday really, but usually get monday out the way then on the lighter days like tuesday or saturday do the rest.

With 7 d2ds put in all over the frame. I bet your cover will not be pleased. It is hard picking letters with d2ds in already - and flicking through almost each one to see whether there are any letter is not convenient.

Then you have double slots. I had 6 d2ds today - four of them were A4 and then a pesky direct line. I took everything because the walkholder does not like d2ds left behind.

However, I left some today (from yesterday) for another cover - he agreed for me to leave them because my other partner does not like delivering to houses without letters (I do not care - it is part of my daily duty). Anyway, the bloke took them all because he does not want to bother going through the slots.

D2D are becoming scarce recently in my office, we've had 3 lots in total in the last 6 weeks. Not that I'm complaining.

Because it's being mis-managed, all you are tasked to do is 1/6th per day, whats the problem with that, cold calling or not? D2D is classed the same as 1st class these days if you do not comply to this you are wide open to Wilfull delay
