for the 2nd time this year a bloke as put in a complaint, not necessarily against me but he's complained that they haven't had any mail for a few days,
puzzling thing is when i do see him he's fine, have a brief chinwag and has come out and offered to take parcels if he sees me knocking on a neighbours door.
i was thinking of becoming his penpal to make sure he gets the occasional letter
I think most don't realise it will affect you.
And see a complaint as a way of getting something for free.
It's a little two faced of them.
I do know one postie who videos themselves knocking on one particular customers door, as they constantly claim the postie NEVER knocks.
They think it will guarantee a swift re-delivery, and to be fair, most managers fall for it.
I've had a crazy old lady moan at me cuz she doesn't get mail every day? I just said a lot of people don't get mail every day, she just said, uh? and shut the door?
But what about those customers that use complaining as a threat? They usually never don't, but that pisses me off!
