ive done this for 15 + years when im putting mail in my frame I always put flats and mags in first then sequenced mail and letters last,so the big stuff on the right of your slot and smaller stuff on the left,i find this a lot easier on delivery less fumbling about etc,not many do this in our office letters are often tucked behind a4 size flats etc,anyone else out there do my method

large flats at front,letters at back,and 6 lots of d2d mixed up amongst it....well thats how i prep my partners loops

One of the only things I was shown when I started was this. I prepped my own duty and thought everyone did it this way. Now someone else preps my duty and it's infuriating. Now I get flats/letters/door to doors in any order. I end up shuffling them around into the proper order before posting.

One person who occasionally preps my duty even has a door to door at the start, then random letters/flats, then another door to door, then a door to door for the next house, then letters for the next house. Sometimes I find letters inside door to door leaflets.

If a street goes 1, 2, 3, 4 etc, and I get letters/flats/door to doors for No1, then letters/flats/door to doors for No2 then door to doors, then letters for No 5, how do I know which house the door to doors are meant to go?

What difference would that make? They still have to be sorted into the duty frame.

The likelihood is that D2ds for no 3 & 4 have been left in the frame to deliver when they have mail other than D2ds.

Smallest letter to the LHS and then work my way up - I don't know if it's just me, but I also put stamped and dated at the very front, even if it is slightly bigger, although not if it's a large letter (stays at the very back)

Indoor would take up more than 50% of my contracted hours if I fussed and faffed about how mail was thrown in. Whats the point? Only thing I do when bundling up is stick a band around a drop that has a fistful of mail. Saves flicking through out on the walk.

I don't even know how you have enough space to do most of this. Also you must be pretty lucky to have so many single slots on your frame.
