Two hour strikes

Post by pilsbury »

How about if we went on strike for the last two hours of our duty. This would cause mass disruption and not cost us alot in the way of pay.Royal Mail would end up with a mountain of un delieverd mail, and we could do this twice a week. The cwu would have to reballot us on this though.Any thoughts lads or am i pissing in the wind. :Applause :Applause

probably (not to sure how royal mail managers would play it) willful delay of mail if you bring back mail before your offical finishing times

Personally, I would keep it to the one day rolling strikes. We want to avoid a re ballot and I think taking 2 hrs off each day would create confusion and bad feeling. Keep it simple we know it works.

I'm all for two hour strikes, but you will always get idiots turning into work early, using their cars and running around like lunatics instead of cutting off.

Correct. Making 2 hour strikes useless.
