.........and nobody else from the office was there! (my mate who works in the building across the road said nobody was there yesterday as well)

Bit of a joke really, considering some of the patter coming form the die hards before the strike. They talk the talk but spineless people cant walk the walk can they?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Don't worry bud ...Lets face it everyone values the days off ...respect to all those who are picketing but equally respect to those who are supporting this strike ...including you ...the country is solid ..rest assured ....go watch the Rugby or take it easy ...

yeah our office is like 70% strike breakers,we went and formed a picket on friday and will do on monday and tuesday.but we all had the day off today. The strike breakers just drive by us and laff anyways. its a bloody joke how the people on strike at our place seem to be treated like we are the strike breakers!

Well Imust appolagise to all my mates as this morning I failed to turn p for duty, I had a very late night and overslept this was the first time that I failed to get there tho. But promise to be on time Monday morning :nana

I was in exactly the same boat this morning. The kids who usually get up early stayed in bed and I slept through 'till nine thirty (musta been the sleep of the just :Very Happy )


Will be there first thing Monday though.

I was on picket at 0430 till 0930 fri then there again sat at 0430... gaffers turned up at 0545 by then the fire was burning strong.Will be there Mon & Tues. Not after a medal.... keep the faith at least I can look at myself in a mirror rather than the strike breakers who were laughing as they drove past.

Travelling by train yesterday through the midlands going north between 7.00.- 8.00.am you could see pickets outside Tamworth,Wolverhampton.

We normally have the same half dozen or so, on the picket line. What we all like is to see them drive out and nearly have a accident, because they won't look at us, so they can't see if there is anything coming from our direction, not much I know, but it makes us smile.

I dont work in a particulary big office, 31 staff, 3 strike breakers and 3 new starts have gone in so far, but most that have been on strike have taken their turn on the picket line, ive been there at 5.30 on most of the days.
