Ok, I see a lot of people slagging off the union, and I cant say some of the points arent valid. However. these guys are on our side, we need to back them. A No vote cripples any lingering power the union still has. Im sorry to say it but this RM management will give us miserable terms if the union lost its power which it would do if a No vote passes. Dont start believing in the "we love our workforce" crap that we get shown weekly on RMTV, this company will be looking to cut costs when privatised, and that means bye bye to jobs and the jobs that are preserved will be under less favourable terms - we cant let this happen.
I already fear for how our jobs will look in a few years even if a Yes vote passes - if its a No vote then its probably time to leave as soon as I can get a decent opportunity.
