No drinks on frames
We were told today we are no longer allowed drinks, even bottled water, on our frames. Somebody was threatened with suspension for eating a penguin biccy on their frame, ffs.
We are now only allowed to 'drink' in our 20 minute break they make us have.

i must agree with Mandelsons toenail unless a local agreement is in place. The break needs to be taken as close to the middle of your duty as you can.The employer can dictate when to take the break but cannot be at the start or end of your duty. Legislation dictates that you are entitled to a 20 minute break if working more than six hours. Royal mail has a 40 minute break policy and again must be taken in one go. The employer can dictate when to take the break. Employees need to be given the choice if they wish a 20-20 or a 40 minute break in one go as custom and practice will set in. If management try and change these provisions, the Area reps at branch need to be informed

We started like that and then it relaxed. They had a big thing about using mobiles at work though, you got caught with your mobile and it was a chat in the office about the "Conduct Code". But, they would then ring mine to ask me things. I had to point out that it's my mobile and they are not to ring it, if they need me then ring my PDA, they said "we havn't got the number for that"

We're no allowed food, no talking, place is a mess , it's all our fault they keep telling us, we're not up to the standard , god help Christmas ,,,,,,!!!! Last year was bad enough , how will it go this year folks?....

Um...let think...
'No', they also make toast, smells lush.We start at 06.30, they make us take 20 mins at 8.20 then say we must take another break while out on delivery. Sitting in a van no doubt.
The reps seem to have disappeared, they don't seem to do much for us to be honest. We also not allowed to talk, move from frames etc etc....
