Should threads started by people using pedometers be banned?
Because nonsense about 16 mile duties and people walking at 8mph are doing my nut in.

Ideas are more powerful than guns. We would not let our enemies have guns, why should we let them have ideas.

Do I have to read them?
It depends why you thought you were put on this earth.
If someone genuinely believes they are walking at 8mph surely one has a duty to try and educate them ?
Either they don't understand basic maths, or basic human physiology or the difference between miles and kilometres, or the limitations of the tools they are using.
However after pages and pages of the same drivel I am now convinced they shouldn't be allowed to post such nonsense.
Freedom of speech shouldn't include the freedom to post unrelenting gibberish.

But isn't letting people post gibberish the essence of Freedom of speech.

The next question would be who would judge what is and what isn't gibberish. Some people think Socialism is gibberish, I think judging people by their skin colour and place of birth is gibberish - should we ban discussion on either of them.

pedometers are old hat nowadays, i used a app on me android today and i walked 8.1 miles at an average speed of 3.98 mph AND i burnt off 848 calories, ha ha
