You can't bully them but you can ignore them if they try to talk about anything other than work related business. None can force you to speak to someone you don't want to.

Dispicable and pathetic as they may be, you can't bully and harrass them. And who would want to be as morally low as a manager to do something like that anyway?

NB: Many moons ago, they were having a dismissal purge in our DO - hoist the number of sackings and look good etc etc. They sacked a scab for something exceptionally trivial. Anyone else, we would have walked and got him re-instated, no problem. We didn't. scab sacked. What goes round comes round. And the sacking purges WILL come round in the privatised Royal Mail. Think on that, strike breakers.

Bullying or harassment in the workplace is completely unacceptable - even using the word scab could be construed as bullying. Using the word "TROLL" however is not !

I just wait till the PO start eroding our conditions and these guys start crying ,then I remind them of the days they never fought for there conditions. There are posties who just moan and moan about lapsing etc then fly round deliveries breaking all the h/s rules then wonder why lapsing comes in ,theres posties who talk about there collegues running round deliveries MON-FRI then do it themselves on a Saturday .Theres no unity in the workplace its every man for himself its sad to say but its true .

After the 2010 dispute, a guy queueing in the canteen behind a strike-breaking colleague, enquired as to whether he would be having Sausage Chips And Beans for breakfast. Next day, said questioner was hauled in the office by a manager who overheard the exchange, prompted no doubt by a complaint from the strike-breaker.

People cross picket lines for various reasons. Sure some are just selfish twats that couldn't give a stuff about anyone else. One guy that crossed the lines last set of strikes springs to mind. He seemed quite pleased with himself for doing it too which didn't really help with his already low popularity rating. No one really liked or spoke to him before he did it, so nothing really changed for him afterwards But there are some people that genuinely have some real problems going on strike. Those that have large families, big mortgages, etc I know we all need money but some need it alot more than others and risk losing alot more than others when going without it. I have never crossed a picket line and never will. Fortunately I have been in a financial position to cope with it. But do not condemn others that just can't do it. Ignore them by all means but understand that everyones situation is different and there may be good reason why they just can't do it!

Good post Judgee, I agree in essence and too worry how people will cope with large families, and hefty mortgages, however, it's an ALL FOR ONE ONE FOR ALL scenario, this will be our LAST Strike before the vultures pick our bones clean, if we don't Unite in A HUGE Yes Vote, and IMHO if the new Gagging Laws, which Parliament are trying to sneak through, is passed, it will deny us our rights in the future, so this really could be our Last Chance to Stand Up and be counted! Their finance situation won't improve if we all end up on minimum wage. Short term loss for long term gain.

I couldn't bully anyone for any reason, leave that to the managers when they realise they are weak and unpopular. They will be the first to go when the cull starts.
