Can management stand behind you while you prep full duty
And accompany you on delivery?
Should union rep be representing or showing you how to do the job?
Just asking as I have seen this and I'm pretty worried about the guy who's being tested in this manner.
Poor guy looks stressed to the Max.

This is standard intimidation tactics that the firm are now employing. This type of thing lead to stike action in at least one office last year.

tried it in our office .. just let Dom get on with it and then hit him with a grievance as he had broken just about every rule in the book, lol

I invite my Dom to accompany me on my delivery every time he questions me. He declines of course.
They do like to watch me sort though.

I doubt half of them could hack a 5 hour 10 mile delivery, even if they were just watching it'd wear them out! 
They tend to park up in their car and watch a few loops here and there. 
If they ever do accompany you it's normally on a light Tuesday and then they say, "That wasn't too bad, I don't know what you lads are complaining about....a nice walk in the fresh air"! 
Then you tell them, Try that every day for a week, and then every week for a month, and then every month for a year...year on year get the picture? It's a bloody grind!
How come we do so much physical work in this job but it never seems to actually make you any fitter....It just seems to knacker everyone out?

Last time we had someone walk tested on a Tuesday he wemt to 85% of the doors even if they had no mail, and just touched their letterbox. When asked what he was doing he said well trying to make it a fair test based on what you see as an average day.
