CWU Representatives Brief National Industrial Action Ballot

Dear Colleague

Thank you for attending our Briefing last week. We know that the best way to maximise a yes vote is for the Unions message to be communicated face to face in the workplace. It is essential that all CWU Representatives now hold meetings with our members and speak to them individually at every opportunity. We have attached to this Representatives Brief the following documents:

· Key messages to be communicated at meetings.
· A detailed leaflet on the legal protections the Union are seeking
in negotiations with the company.
· Workplace posters and leaflets in PDF format. These can be downloaded and printed for distribution in workplaces. These are also being mailed direct to workplaces and should be
distributed and fed in on a daily basis. The posters should be displayed in every workplace.

The notice of the ballot will be given to Royal Mail on Friday 20thSeptember 2013 and ballot papers will be issued from Friday 27th September 2013. Your role in securing the yes vote is crucial.

YOUR ROLE IN SECURING THE YES VOTE IS CRUCIAL.
so if it all goes pear shape blame the reps great. lets not forget how we got in this state in the first place
this should have been sorted long ago but its just been left to drip us dry.
