Hi all,

Does anyone know if you can train and get a HGV licence through the Royal Mail?

Last year they had loads of vacs in london, which they were going to partially fund the hgv if they couldn't get enough internal applicants (I'm sure they did). The union are partially funding courses as such so I'd check if they're doing it in your area.

It's not a bad job and the pay is quite good and I don't think it's a dead mans shoes. Even I we do get sold so made redundant like a few say think of all the other firms needing drivers. Supermarkets and shops are always going to need drivers to deliver there goods
