We can't let them get away with it

We have to do something. Why are the ballot papers taking so long to send out? Why isn't the CWU planning a mass demonstration? Why do we even need the CWU to do it for us? A march, a demonstration at Parliament Square, anything to get our voices heard. Why not? I feel bloody pissed off, and equally pissed off with myself for just sitting here doing nothing. I'm sure loads of you feel exactly the same. Last time I checked, Whitehall was a public right of way. Well we are the public too, and there's tens of thousands of us. We march every day on our own from one door to another, let's show them we can march in unison too. An opportunity to let them know how we feel and get our message put out through the press too, what it means to us, what it means to our communities. Why isn't something like this happening when it feels like it really should. Maybe i'm just naive, but it's the thought of seeing us go down without a fight that makes me sick.

The union is busy patting itself on the back for having a great TUC meeting!

Well congratulations on getting other unions to agree that privatisation is not good. That was really important and so much better than actually DOING something about it!!!

We should have been balloted and on strike well before the intention to list was announced!

We cannot be balloted for strike action against privatisation.
The strike would be illegal and in all probability the union would have its funds sequestered.
The strike has to be, as always, about our terms and conditions.
