Privitisation. A good thing

Whilst I understand I will be in a massive minority but I happen to think this could be a good thing. There are to many workers out to do as little as possible and if this leads to the slackers being got rid of then all the better for the vast majority of hard working staff.

I have been in the job over ten years and still enjoy it despite all the changes. To many people hark back to days long gone and refuse to accept change has to happen. What is needed is a concise plan to work together to get the best deal for staff and not to oppose it just because the cwu say to.

Change may be needed but privatisation is a step too far. I suggest every employee in delivery start thinking about what job they'll be doing in 3 years because a private sector board will not listen to the union, and after the 3 years are up our T&C's and pay will be destroyed.

come back four years from now when you have a zero hour contract and working at minimum wage.

The CWU is trying to secure YOUR job and money for the next five years, RM are saying they will safeguard jobs etc for three years, when that three years is up, they will make everyone re-apply for their jobs at a lower wage and benefits etc.

you have to look ahead not just think that it's going to stay all rosy forever, MC staff will be in the same boat, once more mail sort machines can be brought into the company ( with the Mega profits RM say we will make and with the £1.4bn in loans they are going to take out ) hence not needed an many workers in any section of the Company.
