had WTL last tuesday and have been asked by dim to count all packets,recordeds,and specials over the nxt 2wks starting 9th sept. rep gave his pennies worth and said walks are timed on 21 door rattles per duty. i wasnt aware there was a limit on packets or door rattles. we been doing p&l for nearly two years. had a count today and was rattling 36 times. any body else had to do this. or know what the limit is per delivery. don't now what will come of it but most people have above that daily. cant see them reducing the walks. rep says they should reacess walks if above limit. dim didnt disagree with him. or just another pointless exercise
Yes i believe its around 21 per walk, stupidly outdated. Some of our van share duties leave with 50 oversize alone. Two years after the revision and i still wont sign off the duties till they recognise geo and so is bullshit, it dosent work. I want to go back to tabletop its more honest.
There isn't a limit to how many packets a delivery has but georoute gives you on average 21 attendance calls (packets etc) in its system. Anymore than that then you have to add roughly 57 seconds (georoutes figures not mine) for each extra packet you have. So if for eg your walk has 51 attendance calls a day youll get roughly 30 mins put into georoute for your extra time it takes to deliver these. Packet counts are hugely important so do them accurately.

Though it is likely it will be ignored and the duties won't change.
Done three of these in our office well over 21 each time and nothing has changed so I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.Seems to me to be a bit of a delaying tac tic to keep people quiet and make you think management are actually sorting things out.
