Sorry guys if this question sounds silly but, is there any difference between overtime and SA? If you had recieved courier special today " one day's strike means loss of pay including any supplements, allowances, overtime and SA earnings not worked, and a day's pension contribution" Hence my question!!
if you have a contract of 39 hours, s/a rate is 10.15. pressure o/t is 9.87 for 1st ten hours. if you don't have a 39 hour contract you will be paid 9.54 an hour on o/t until you reach the 39 hour fresh old. if you have an s/a you also get 2 payments a year in the summer. can't remember how they work it out because im half cut.

This is to make up for missing SA payments while you are on annual leave.
- and the SA Lump Sum gets that £10.15 an hour up to £11
