TNT impact on deliveries

An ex colleague is joining TNT who are to commence foot deliveries in Manchester postcodes from November. Deliveries will be rota style with an area receiving mail Mon,weds,fri or Tues,thurs,sat. What sort of impact can we expect on our own workloads as I imagine that to keep their own workforce occupied they will immediately transfer local DSA from TNT to their own operation. Will they also canvas other DSA suppliers for contracts and lastly, as much of our DTD items come via TNT, will they look to bulk out with that part of the business. Does anyone have any experience of the impact of this type of operation in other areas?

Yes mate I'm from south London and they do have a negative impact which Is an absolute disgrace to all of us real postman they wear t shirts with postie on the front and delivering for you on the back.I really don't like them and see them as locusts.

To be honest, no impact felt in my part of London.
TNT deliver very little of their own stuff, we still take out a fair bit of TNT marked mail, and I would swear, all their fecking packets!!!

Rhino49 let us know how your mate does with TNT I suspect they are even worse then Royal Mail to work for.
