How long does the process of recruiting an employee take?
I was told by a union rep today that it takes 3 months

I heard 12 weeks as well and we are understaffed since the revision to place
They can't cover walks since we went to in six ( especially on a Saturday )
Saying that , it wasnt much better before the revision

Took me about 2-3 months after interview to start.

Took me 5 months from the application stage to start date.

Probably took about 2 months with me - they advertise the job, people apply, they do the online tests, then they're invited to the interview, then after a while they're told if they've got the job or not, then they have the CRB check (which takes a few weeks), then they have to wait for the induction, then they start.
We have a perfect record in aviation: we never left one up there.
