On the picket line this morning our DUM SR let it slip that someone inside Royal Mail has decided that if on strike we would lose two days may next Friday and Two days the week after, not all in one go as we were led to believe. Can anyone verify this :hmmmm

Yes you will loose two days pay on first week and two days on second week you can not loose four days pay in one week as these are two different pay weeks. :so there

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Our office said they would be taking 4 days all in one go, "because we can".

And I agree, who cares?, it's time with the family; it's time away from work; and it's time to show them who actually does the job while they're fiddling the books and making it out as though we're the bad guys and gals.

its these sort of scare tactics that they think will get people in, i dont give a f**k take it all in one go whats the difference, still losing the same amount of money, i am absolutely blown away by RM's attitude lately and will fight this til the end ,please everyone do the same, i was a serious doubter when all this kicked off way back months and months ago, my eyes have been SERIOUSLY opened, RM will destroy our jobs FIGHT IT!!

They sneaked a notice up on our board Wednesday and it is going to be 2 hits not 1 - the letter was Sheffield so AFAIK its legit.
