Got my 20 years service award last week and have been given a catalogue with various items to choose as my gift, not much of it interests me but there are vouchers available for argos, currys and co. My question is how much in good old English pounds do I get with these vouchers as it doesn't say in the book or at the web address they give you to choose from.........many thanks

i have done 14 1/2 years first time around and 12 years this time, got a plaque for 10 years sevice 1st time but sod all since...................my service has been reconised for holiday entitlement and thats about it

Stuff the free night with the managers unless you get on really well with them and they are your mates.

Yep its 80 HUGE pounds for 20 years slog.

I took the vouchers and bought a speed cam detector for the car which has saved me a few times now so was prob worth it. The only worth while part of the deal is the extra week off which to be fair to RM is actually quite good.

Normally a day at races with meal and drink plus vouchers or gift. Book a hotel at your expense and make a weekend of it and if you work Saturdays they give you the day off too..

ours was a sunday race meeting at doncaster lovely day out but crap beer an food still it was a nice cheap day out

I got my 20 years service award 2 weeks ago, how long is it that you have to wait to go for the meal, races etc after you've got your award because nothing was said to me about that part

Normally that would be the case but they will get in touch with you. Does also depend on where you live as I know they also do lingfield and kemptown park and someone has also said Doncaster but I presume there are other race meetings too.
