Planned industrial action at Coventry North Delivery Office (CV2, CV6 and CV7) - Tuesday 27th August
Royal Mail is disappointed that members of the Communications Workers Union (CWU) have voted in favour of industrial action at Coventry North Delivery Office on Tuesday 27th August.

Should this action take place we have strong contingency plans in place to help minimise any disruption to mail services in the area. Managers and other volunteers will be delivering to as many customers as possible during this time. We will ensure all priority mail, including Special Delivery™ and Tracked™ items, and as many parcels as possible are delivered to customers. The Enquiry Office at Coventry North will remain open as normal, for customers to collect items we’ve left a ‘Something for you card’ for.

Managers and other volunteers will also be used to collect mail from as many post boxes, Post Office® branches and business collection customers as possible, though collection times will vary from normal. Due to this reduced collection service, customers may wish to take mail to a local Post Office®, by 1300hrs. Post Office® branches in other parts of Coventry will receive normal collections so customers can post later in the day at branches outside of the CV2, CV6 and CV7 area. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused to our customers as a result of the CWU’s action.
