yesterday I had lapsing with another workmate as my partner was ill.
We had 80 houses to deliver between us which too about 20 mins (quite rural)
But we had to drive 4 miles to deliver the lapsing , got stuck at a level crossing as the lapsing was both sides of the railway line,
I then had to drive back to the office so my workmate could pick his car up to leave at the start of his round because he uses a locked trolley and the DOM locks up and goes home by the time he's finished.
I then after dropping him off drive 3 miles to my start of my round
All to deliver 40 letters taking into account time taken 45 minutes and 10 miles petrol.
Wheres the cost cutting here ?
