sick attendance

hi all jus wondering since this new sick leave was redone, does it clear previous sick leave so start from scratch? i wasnt on a stage or nething but had couple days of sick b4 it was brought in

No

All past sickness still counts towards the new system - the only difference was if you were on a stage and the new rules meant you came off earlier you did. If you are not on a stage it made no difference to the process IIRC.

So if you go 6 months now without absence, you go down a stage, or are removed, if on a stage 1? Even if 3 months of it was before the new rules, and 3 months after they were introduced?

I am currently off work for 4 weeks so far, then do this means after six month without absence when I return I will be back to Stage 0 ?

Yes. But..... having not read it all completely cover to cover I think you would have to go 12 months without sickness to not re-trigger a stage 1.
