Re: workplace coach
a tenner.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Ah yes! My favourite, if I'm feeling that way about, when someone comes snivelling that their PDA isn't working - I ask who coached them, then tell them to go to the bloke who gets £30 a week for tuition.hans solo wrote:if your applying for work place coach wtf do you need to ask what to do

I thought CWU had pulled out of wcm. Workplace coaches now come under the umbrella of wcm!
Also the hassle from everyone isn't worth the extra dosh.

Re: workplace coach
Its a job application, so if you want to apply for it (I wouldn't) treat it as such. If you struggle to highlight the skills you will bring to the job, then you'll need to ask yourself some difficult questions.postiemids wrote:im going to apply for workplace coach what do i need to put in the letter of application

Re: workplace coach
I've been a work place coach for 3 years now and, in my office, the WPCs are the only ones who have definitely stated that they'll be on strike and won't be crossing picket lines.
Being a WPC has NOTHING to do with WCM although RM are trying their best to involve us. It's not in the National Agreement and I want nothing to do with it! In my universe being a WPC is about helping new entrants and people who don't know how to reboot a PDA.

Re: workplace coach
And it has nothing to do with the extra £30/ week ! Pull the other one, and good to know that hand picked "managers pets/spies" are rock solid behind any strike. As CWU members, I would have thought that any need not to cross a picket line is expected of them - surely the very thought far less "attempt" to approach a picket line then to be ASKED not to go in and work as a scab would never enter the minds of your WPCs colleagues.!!!!!!Shaman Mao wrote:I've been a work place coach for 3 years now and, in my office, the WPCs are the only ones who have definitely stated that they'll be on strike and won't be crossing picket lines.

Re: workplace coach
I never said he would pass a picket line !! He makes reference to his WPCs colleagues as being " the only ones who have definitely stated that they'll be on strike and won't be crossing a picket Line " My point is that it is a rather rash statement, reflecting poorly on his other colleagues who may be fully behind a strike and form a picket line ! My view on his post is that he seems to be elevating the WPC's as being a solid group of individuals - which I applaud - but ! to try and make a point scoring exercise on a basic trade unionists duty NOT to pass a picket line and assume it as feather in his cap is a bit rich, in my opinion- rant over.aiden01 wrote:were did he say he would cross a picket linetommyrep wrote:And it has nothing to do with the extra £30/ week !
