so here we have the new ingenious sorting methods coming into our office soon (do they actually pay people to think these things up?)
they pick out the best sorters , then as soon as they come in they are on the IPS, while they are doing this the others guys prep the jobs!!
at the moment things are working perfectly it normally takes no more than an hour to clear the IPS, now the poor sod super sorters are going to be stuck on there for around 2 hours while your mate gets an easy ride prepping , FFS if its not broke it don`t need mending .

We eventually refused to do it cos we were fed up watching everyone else standing around having chats
We were knackered before we left for delivery
The trouble is that the fastest people on sorting are often the quickest at prepping as well. I don't get why sorting is seen as the most important, as prepping can make just as bigger difference in getting out early/on time.

Sorting is more important 'cause if that is done badly, no one gets out

You still gets loads of stuff on IPS with sequencing machines, all sequencing saves you is 10-15 minutes a day. Half the time we're waiting longer than that for it to come off the machines so it saves nothing.
