Full time p time numbers

What is the percentage supposed to be of full time to part time duties? We now have more part time duties ,and (most of the ok jobs are now part time). The full timers with loads of seniority have been left as floaters ,while ppl just in door have there own duties. Not having a go at part timers at all ,just describing my office . How long does a pencil revision go on for supposed to be 6 weeks ,,,,

The PO say it is 75%-25% over the overall network ,but what the PO do is they make most of the staff in small officers up to full time ,and in big officers more part timers so when u have disputes the work force is split as you will find most part timers wont be in union .In our office its 50-50 and we have about 100 posties .

Its more like 75% part time & 25% full time in our office.

A full timer leaves to be replaced by an 18 hour temp contract more walks collapsed so the bonus driven DOM can keep the budget down... to satisfy moyas demands

Temp contracts threatened with non renewal of contract if they don't cooperate with bullying DOM to absorb walks beyond contracted hours

I honestly thought all full time employees who left the business post BT2010 revisions were replaced by part-timers who were next in line to be made up..... or was that more bullshit attached to the royal mail propaganda machine

My duty is not working last out ,last back ,I've said I'm working to my time ,I get all the usual bshit ,,,you were early yesterday etc which I wasn't . You tell em you're leaving stuff and its like you've murdered someone,, then when you don't give in to there threats ,,right youlle come back and sit in canteen for you're 40 minute meal relief. The duty needs indoor or some outdoor off ,,getting me down having to put up with this every day just coz I won't start early like most of office ,,any help would be appreciated ,thanks.

Keep coming in on your time ,don't let them pressure you I get it all the time .The usual well the other guys are out at 9.10am and your out at 9.40am it must be your prep .So I kindly tell them that they come in half hr before me ,oh I didn't notice they were coming in early they would reply (more porkies)

I expect on a national level, there will be quite a large number of PT staff covering FT duties on OT, we certainly have a lot.
Every time an FT postie leaves, they are never replaced, just have a PT postie placed in the job.

I've asked this very question a great many times as I feel it is crucial to how the CWU move forward on any IA issues - I was fobbed off with some bullshit in the past but neither RM who won't give the information nor the CWU who I'm confident haven't a clue are forthcoming.
