Overtime after strike action

Post by tom63uk »

At a team brief yesterday in our Delivery Office we were told that once we return to work after strike action we are to sort and prep until our usual times then any mail thats left is to be put under our frames and this is to be done every day until the backlog is cleared.Only take enough mail so we can complete our duties in our normal hours. Then we were told strike breakers could work past their hours and claim o/t.HAS THIS BEEN SAID IN ANY OTHER OFFICES
Doesnt affect me as i dont do o/t but others do

We have not heard anything about that in our DO but
we were told before that we wouldnt be rewarded by getting ot for
striking in the first place. Couldnt care less myself. Let the
2 W*nkers clear our office. It should only take until about 2015
and I will nearly be retiring with my crappy pension

My local branch has reported issues of harrassment against cwu members. They have filed a grievance over the managers stance regarding overtime.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
