If you do half a shift and go home due to illness, Does this count towards absences/stages and are you paid in full for the day or just half? been with rm nearly 1 year.

If you have been sent home it doesn't count as you have attended work but for your own health and safety you were taken off work.
We had someone who puked on the shop floor so he was sent home for H&S reasons.

No your half day sick will not count against you as part day sickness now will not count due to the new attendance procedure.
I would think that even though you do not get sick pay yet ( after 1 year of service you will be entitled to it ) you will get paid for your whole day.
if your day off is Monday, tell your DOM / LM that you will be fine for work on Monday or you may find that you will get marked down for 2 days sick as well ( Sunday / Monday )
if you are working Monday, don't worry about telling them.
