Looked at 3 regions re bullying, 59-61% had been bullied by a manager.

The figures are frightening enough but it's actually 59-61% of those who have been bullied,have been bullied by a manager.

The total figure for those who have experienced bullying in the last 12 months is 14% which is shocking for a firm employing around 150,000 people.
That's about 20,000 staff experiencing bullying every year and around 12,000 of those bullied by management.
Those figures should have the Royal Mail board dragging Regional Directors in and asking what the f**k is going on?
It's pretty shameful reading for management but do they care?

Any lurking managers care to comment?

Just looked at the zip file it is shocking Royal Mail never mentioned it in their Employee Survey results flyer the sent out to us all did they another thing swept under the magic carpet of Royal Mail.

Regional directors will probably be on bullying bonuses.

I read the full results for our office yesterday, it was horrendous from RM's point of view and I thought ours was a decent office to work in! One thing that was different was bullying, not many said they had been bullied by a manager by quite a few had buy colleagues which suprised me.

Virtually every result was below the national statistic, even though those were bad enough. No wonder the courier only picked out 3 or 4 things, nothing else could possibly be spun in a positive light.

Well I should think Gordon needs to start at the top £250,000 for nothing a bonus for bullying the very managers above us all yet all they do is walk around with cups of coffee all day bullying us all.

Has any office had the staff comments published yet? I can imagine they were utterly scathing (I know mine were!), hence they've been quietly shuffled out of view.

Our survey results have been quietly pinned on the wall with no mention of it at all in WTLL.
I just happened to notice it yesterday, it's almost like they're trying to hide it.

Almost ours must behind the wailing wall we will have more chance digging that up than finding our results in our office.

They've put ours up on the notice board but refused to put up the comments section as big boss said that "there to personal"!!!....still think if they want us to do it, they should be prepared to accept the truth!...

Our manager the same he said that he would not display what was written , which does not take much to know it was not very complimentary

They insist we fill them in as they want to know our opinions and thoughts, that they say are very important to them.
Yet, when (which is basically always) the results aren't what they want to hear, they do what they can to keep them quiet, and point blank refuse to address any issues raised.
If the results were spectacularly good , they would be shouted from the roof tops and released to the press in another bout of propaganda aimed at boosting their own ego's.
Even those that have seen the results, they are just interpreted to make them look good.
They claim improvements in morale etc., but it is usually by 1% or 2%, and the actual result is still s**t, as 60% plus still have the 'wrong' opinion of the firm and its management.

To be fair to our managers the full results are still printed up outside the office, surprising as the results are way below the national ones and they are bad enough.
