Incorrect Overtime

Every single week my overtime is incorrect. It may only be the odd 30 mins / hour here and there but I want paying for it. Today yet again it's wrong. I've had enough of it now, if I get fobbed off again tomorrow can I claim it back by saying I'll cut off before my finish time by the amount I'm owed?

Best not to. Better informing them that you are writing to Moya Greene, and making a claim at the small claims court.

I dont want it to get nasty but I think thats the way its going due to the headstrong DIM who just wants his bonus. Can I actually take it to the small claims? It might end up costing me more than it's worth?

List the dates/OT owed on a grievance form and post it to the DIM.

I have been chasing 4 hours for almost 2 months now, I will ask again this week otherwise I will be putting in a grievance against my DIM.

it's not the money so much as the principle

i have been chasing a few hours for about over 2 months too. I have since stopped doing any o/t but want it paid anyhow. What's the best step i ask the manager he says it will be in next weeks pay and so on and so fourth - I don't think he gives a s**t anyhow. So how do i make him give a s**t without it getting nasty? Is grievance my best option?

Grievance and emails to Moya and Bob pointing out the joint statement made between Royal Mail and CWU that bonifide overtime must be paid and asking them to stick to their commitment.

Must admit that i would cut the next days delivery by the time I am owed. Tell the DOm that and see what happens. If no reaction then cut the time. The DOM will not take any action against you. If.... he is stupid enough to try ... then you will have him/her on toast
