Hi people, i need clarification on what is the ruling if you bring back mail because you were not able to complete your walk due to working to your time.
The management make us put it back in the fitting and take it out the next day, so again you cant complete, because of working to time. So please what is the ru;ling/

Re: Incomplete walks
As long as you have followed correct procedure, i.e. telling your manager prior to leaving for delivery in the morning that you can't complete, then you are absolved of any wrong doing.
Your manager, however, isn't. It is wilful delay on their part, as far as I'm aware all offices should have a clear office policy, the only exception maybe being streamlining, but that isn't what's happening here. Nor can they claim 'operational necessity'. They should be out delivering it if they can't cover it in any other way.
As per usual, one rule for one, one rule for another.
You could report it to a DSM, but may find they know already and don't care. It would paint a target on your back.
Set up an email address on an untraceable service, like yahoo or Hotmail, so it's unrelated to you and cannot be traced back to you, and email Moya annonymously at justsayit@royalmail.com.
See if anything happens.

Notify the regulator of the failure.
