I left royal mail and rejoined after just over 3 months away, one of the ex reps told me i might get my lentgth of service and seniority back does anyone know for sure, i wont see him until after the strike (i rejoined the union and supporting the action)

I did similar thing, I still retain my seniority from when I started, the length of service starts from when you rejoin but your annual leave remains from when you originally joined. Length of service only counts as continuous employment.

yes you do get your seniurity back it is between 3 to 6 month period!
