I may be a bit ignorant but I am certainly not an idiot. Why are Royal Mail issuing a "special" Privatisation edition of the Courier? If I wanted a prospectus about the benefits of privatisation of Royal Mail then I would expect a pack from "The Government" and NOT a "welcome to privatisation" from Royal Mail.

If we get privatised in 3 years they will slowly lower wages or not give us payrises and a lot of people will go,it will be even more profit orientated and even our contracts could be altered.This is why i am even more pissed of with the cwu,they have a cunning plan as balderick says or they are resigned to defeat.They didnt even put up a wimper over pensions with the final salary gone i wish bob crow was in charge,at least he gets in the news unlike the clowns we have.come on cwu i am on pain meds from docs because you agreed to the park and poop 12 miles a day is a joke with 90 extra calls with lapsed unless you want a arguement with the dom.

Well if the last 3 year deal is anything to go by it'll still be going in the next millennium, promised monies not paid, agreements not kept and the bullying will probably have reached baseball bats and thumbscrews level....................there is also a possibility of a company song and an hours tai chi prior to your shift.....ain't life grand.
