what day(s) is the post heaviest and lightest for delivery?

Was few guys chatting in our office this morning saying that Thursdays are now becoming heavier then Wednesday.

What's your take on this?

Tuesday is obviously the lightest, followed by Saturday.

I'd say Monday is a little heavier than saturday.

What's the heaviest out of wed,thur and fri?

Varies week in week out ,but it's not 20'000 down etc today as they said! My bodies dying slowly now ,bed at 8 again lol

Tuesday lightest, Thursday currently heaviest. Saturdays have been busier than Mon/Wed/Fri for us over the last couple of months, it's now usually our second latest finish of the week.

Mon = Heavy

Tues = Great best day of the week by far

Weds = Mega Heavy

Thurs = Mega Heavy

Fri = Very Heavy

Sat = Heavy to Very Heavy

Off course a bit ,,,but if you've had a revision and you know someone's duty is a lot easier than the rest of us and he's getting finished miles before anyone,, what would you do or say? If anything

If he picked before you then tough, he's senior so good luck to him. If he picked after you then tough, cos you had the chance to pick it first.

There are two duties in our office that the first pair who picked into them couldn't complete, they both picked out as soon as they could and the pair who are in that duty now are first back nearly every day.

IME it's not usually the duties that are that much easier or harder than each other, it's more who's doing them. If this guys duty really is that easy though then good luck to him I say.

Valid point in some cases but not all, obviously if someone on a duty is always back early/first/before you are there are 3 possible reasons (assuming job is being done properly)
1 they simply move quicker than others
2 I/you/whoever just naturally moves a little slower
3 there really is a problem with the walk

Now nothing can be done about the first two as we are all different but the third is a problem. As a reserve I have a different walk each day, I am naturally a slow mover (read-slightly energetic sloth) but there are some walks on which I have no problem finishing first. And others, come winter, I know I will be finishing in the dark.
The only solution is to find an "average" postie and have them test each walk in an office on average days and compare.
Of course that's in a perfect world but we can dream
