What are the wage cut off points?

Just a quiery on my wage.
I started work last week, induction was 8 hrs on Wednesday and then I worked Thursday,Friday and Saturday (24hr contract). On the thursday evening after my first day at work I recieved a wage slip for £71 including £4 suppliment. I'm presuming that was for the thursday. Today i have recieved a wage slip for £206 including a £12 suppliment. My working days are thursday,fri and sat every week. I was expecting more this week for arrears?. Does my wage slip include hours I will be working tomorrow and saturday or do they go onto next weeks?

I understand that 3 days pay will be about £206 but I worked 3 days plus 8 hours paid induction last week which is 32 hours (8hrs overtime) but my wage was £71 which I presume was for the thursday so am I right in thinking my wage this week should be for Induction,last friday,last saturday,this thursday(today),tomorrow and saturday or does tomorrow and saturday go onto next week with today (thursday) being the cut off point every week?

The 8 hours on Wednesday was overtime I presume and should have been in your pay this week.
If it was, it would be clearly marked on your payslip as such.
Ask your manager tomorrow.
It may be an oversight. It may be sly.
Best to nip it in the bud early.

Will do. So what I work tomorrow and saturday go onto next weeks wage or is todays wage including an estimate of tomorrow and saturday?

I'm full time, been in the job a while, my 1st week started monday and got a full weeks pay on the thursday. We aren't paid in hand and I don't think you are either.

Probably best to see my manager because im unsure of the pay structure. Im either out of pocket by one day (induction day) or 3 days as I never got paid for the two working days (fri and sat) last week hence my wage being only £71

Basic wage is paid the week you earn it. Overtime the following week. If you were not paid for the 24 hours you worked last week in that week you are now owed it and should speak to your manager about it!

Thats what I thought. I worked 32 hrs last week and will be working 24ish this week so I presume my wages should have been £206 last week excluding induction overtime and my 3 days ill be working this week including induction overtime owed ,about £270 so i'm £200 out of pocket if what said is right.

Looks like you were only paid the induction day last week, so they do owe you 24 hours. Ring wages as well, number on back of payslip.

****UPDATE***

Ok still none the wiser from my quiery in the initial post on this topic.
I phoned HR up and they said my pay schedule was Monday Tuesday and Wednesday when in fact I worked in my first week Thursday Friday and Saturday with a pay that same week for £71 which was my wage for my induction on Wednesday.
I went back to the wages manager and he said wages are paid the week after. I was under the impression it was just overtime you got a week later.. Is this true???? HR told me to tell my manager to change my pay structure and I was owed 3 days but the manager is adament wages are paid a week in hand!!!

Ive no idea if ive been conned out of 3 days pay or not. HR and my manager seem to be saying two different things even though id tend to believe HR but being a new starter I dont want to start fighting it out with my manager if the woman at HR is wrong and we do get our wages the week after we work.

So basically if I go on sick this thursday (as an example) then I would still recieve a full wage in the same week but a day less the following week????

If you join in the real world you are a member as soon as you sign the form, however in this case as there are no other considerations to take into account it shouldn't be a problem.

We do not work a week in hand but since we are paid on thursday,the pay needs to be processed by wednesday,if for example you went sick on thursday,friday or saturday you would obviously not be deducted until the following week.

That is where the confusion has happened.
On the tuesday your manager should have informed payroll in advance that you would be working fri-sat....he didn't and therefore you didn't get paid.
You are due 2 days pay.
It will probably go in with this week's pay.
