First saw these questionaires about 6 weeks ago, i asked our linos what they put and they replied the bare minimum so they dont end up being moved about and having to work too hard during action.

you seem to forget not everyone is in the union and not all will go out on strike not for long term hold out
you forget the deputy managers will do the work that a postie is doing

Business wide it's about 1:10 but that includes non-ops.
There are approx 15,000 managers in Royal Mail...mostly doing f**k all.

We had managers from RM HQ and all over the country sent to my former MC during the last strikes. Most of them spent their time drinking coffee and stuffing their faces with the free food in the canteen - some were stocking up with sweets and bottled drinks until they were issued with £5 meal vouchers to put an end to that.
Those that went out on collections only managed to bring in some of the SD items.
They are only used to try to make it seem that some sort of service is being provided.
