I was reading that "Master of the Posts" book and apparently it's possible to employ a cat to control rodents in an office . The office can even claim expenses to cover the cost of feeding the cat, although this has to be reduced over time to encourage the cat to eat the rats and mice.
Would be fun to have a moggy in the office on rodent patrol but the DIM would take it off it's cushy mousing duty and send it out with lapsing.

Have to be cheapo cat food from Lidl or Aldi so it's in line with everything else that's cheapo at RM

Cats are quite clever and one would jack RM in a week.
Either that or they would give it some rodent absorbtion in another office
