on Posties who return to the office once they have completed deliveries?
I can understand bag searches first thing in the morning, but after coming back from a delivery...what is that all about?
Invariably you will get no access mail, gone aways,refused,etc, so I would imagine most posties post them back through the system or bring them back like me to be endorsed and killed off.....In all the years I have been at RM I have never known(or heard) of a bag search after a delivery!

We used to have bag checks after delivery for the reason of undelivered no matter why. With holding mail. Seen one person conducted for it.

If your bringing mail back for a legitimate reason like dog was out, customer gave you it as they don't live at that address etc then you have nothing to worry about. If you bring it back cause you can't be arsed to deliver it then that's another thing.

We have this policy in place. You need a reason to bring a single item back if your under time. I often go back over some ground to deliver a miss prepped item.

As long as your prepared to go back out and deliver it you have nothing to fear.

If your up to your time then that's fine. You cant predict 3 letters.

Nope you can only inform them if you know you can't complete, I on this day already had 2 bags taken off and had more 739s to leave than planned. I refuse to use my phone to ring them.
