Crammie, all your posts remind me of a great broadcaster on many a radio station, Tommy Boyd. He used to enjoy winding people up too. It was really entertaining the number of people who fell for his wind-ups. I was never one of them. And I'm still not.............

Can't see the point of striking they are going to privatise us anyway neve gained anything from striking just lost of earnings

Okay so you never got a pay rise better than the original, you never got a shorter working week, you never got the Delivery Supplement - I can see why you don't like the Union if you didn't get them.

The time for action was a good time ago when the ball was set rolling. Not when it's long since rolled off into the sunset. Still, a consultative ballot on a legally questionable form of industrial action surely helped matters. It's disheartening to see the hard work put in by reps at local level completely wasted by the inept, self serving higher echelons of what is supposed to be our Union .
