sick leave and resigning notice

Can you please advise me, i handed my notice in to the acting manager last saturday morning, as my stress level was increasing.this morning i went to see to the manager and we talked about what was happening and he was informed that i was seeing my gp tonight bp is up subsequently i have been signed off for two weeks and to suspend my notice of resignation to see what happens in the two weeks to see bp drops back to normal or not question can i reinstate my notice will still on sick leave if decided or must i be back at work to impliment it please help

you do seem to be in a hurry to leave r.m. do hope you got another job to go 2. if u handed in your sick note then you cant leave till its finished then you can hand your notice in

The truth is you can walk away whenever you want.
What are they going to do sack you?
Notice period is really just common courtesy.
Worth remembering if you intend coming back though.

I think it's a good idea if you take the full two weeks to get your head straight about what you want to do.
