Transfer request on line?

Speaking to my union rep today regarding a transfer and he asked me if I have filled out a transfer request on line.

I've not heard of this, can somebody supply a link please?

You can't do a transfer on line , you need to contact chesterfield they deal with transfers . Phone hr up and they give you the number

The revised system will change the dynamic of requesting a transfer to real time application, when the job becomes available. This will happen by the individual logging onto the Royal Mail website and registering an on line application setting out a criteria of preferred locations within a specified mileage radius, contractual hours, position and type of job. This will also include setting up an email alert that is triggered if/when a job becomes available that meets the individual’s criteria. They will then have to confirm their application and willingness to transfer to this vacancy...

Did you get anywhere with the chesterfield line of enquiry via HR?
When I spoke to them I was told bluntly to APPLY ONLINE. I have since worded a letter expressing my disapointment in this new process, after benefiting from the transfer process previously. I will post a new topic and the letter which I am trying to get read by as many ' top bods' as possible. It is titled 'transfer queue to doll queue'
