NOT,on Saturday we all had letters for every house telling customers there bin day is going to change ,these changes take place middle of july,i know coz I opened mine for my house,these were 2nd class,we asked our dom can these go on Monday or could we deliver where we were going to with mail,he denied us both options,if I had something on Saturday I would have worked to my time, but I didn't so I claimed plenty of OT.But this attitude really annoyed me, Ive been in the job many years ive noticed mail does get held back .

they were due delivery for that day - what is the problem?

you want to pick and choose what you deliver according to you social plans?

you could of course have cut off

The idiots mismanaging Royal Mail did us the disservice of making Saturday a working day just like any other.
They can pile up the crap as high as they like.
And generally, that's exactly what they do.

Yep, I'm afraid Saturday is just like any other working day now. Although you still find idiots coming in early.

I would have said I will take it all out but will bring back what I cannot do took it all out Monday and left it again it's what managers get paid for their exorbitant bonuses!.

But it is your choice what you do. Don't stress about how much mail you have. It's not worth the angst.

I have walked in to 8 trays of mech.. with all the 'boys' wondering what i would do. I cut over a third of my walk. Not really a problem ; is it?

Work to your time and cut off. That's what I'm learning to do. No matter of mail quantity
