Nobody can guarantee our terms and conditions after privatisation,not Royal Mail,not the CWU and not the Government.
There are no facts about our future....only maybes and mightbes.

Royal Mail cannot even guarantee our pensions liability's which the government took over £27 billion and now they say the same as this company "Unfortunately, it is not sustainable in the current climate to maintain the existing staff on their previous terms and conditions." how long before we hear this statement from our new owners?.

BT2010 was the last chance saloon for most in my unit, nobody thinks that the CWU will come to the rescue, its every man for themselfs. All that after we were previously a strong office.

Sorry you are wrong the condem government want to sell up to 90% and the remaining 10% to go to or be available to staff.

Tupe is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard. All they have to do is make a good case and we lose its protection.

I also believe that TUPE has been chipped away at for some time now, so it isn't as good as once it was.
And if the Government only wanted to sell 49.9% of the company and retain veto, we wouldn't be trying to stop it, we would merely want their guarantee that they would try and sell the rest.
